Is LATECH® latex?

No. LATECH® is a latex-like foam, and it contains no natural rubber latex. It is made to give you the springy feel people love in latex.

How does it feel compared to latex?

Springy, with a quick bounce back when you move, much like latex. If you want the springiest bed money can buy, natural latex is hard to beat. If you want the latex feel at a fair price, that is LATECH®.

Why pick LATECH® over a natural latex mattress?

Because you want the feel, not the bill. LATECH® gives you latex-like bounce for less, with no natural latex inside, in a foam designed not to powder or crumble.

Will it crumble like old latex?

LATECH® is designed not to powder or crumble as it ages. Natural latex can harden and crumble over the years, especially with sun and heat, and LATECH® was made to avoid that.

What is 55LL?

55LL is the technical grade name of LATECH® Foam, the name you may see on a spec sheet. Before it had its own registered name, we listed it as "Latex Feel" foam. In Chinese we call it LATECH® 科技胶.

Who makes it?

LATECH® is our own foam, made for MattressHub and exclusive to us. The name is a registered trademark of PALACE AND STABLE (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia and ORDINARY KIND PTE LTD in Singapore.

Which products use it?

The SonoFlex Signature Cloud and SonoFlex Luna Rest mattresses, the SonoFlex LX Mattress Topper (2 inch) and the SonoFlex CoolNest pillow. You can see Cloud in 360° in our online showroom.

How do I care for it?

Keep it in its cover, and keep the foam out of strong, direct sun. Spot clean the cover with a damp cloth, and never soak, machine wash or tumble dry the foam. Turn your mattress head to foot every few months so it wears evenly.
